Warranty, Refund and Returns Policy
At LeoTech, we are committed to offering high-quality products. If a manufacturing fault occurs, warranty claims can be made within the specified period under the following terms and conditions:
1. Warranty Coverage
- Warranty is provided on behalf of the Manufacturer/Supplier/Distributor. LeoTech, as a reseller/vendor, is not responsible for defects that arise after the product is sold in good working condition.
2. Warranty Card
- If the invoice mentions “Warranty Card Issued,” customers should ensure they receive the warranty card along with the invoice. Our Customer Support Centre will not handle warranty claims without the warranty card.
3. Invoice Requirement
- Warranty claims may be rejected if the original invoice is missing.
4. Product Inspection
- Customers should check the product before leaving the counter, as the warranty period begins once the receipt is generated. Any issue discovered afterward will follow the standard warranty claim process.
5. Condition of Product
- Claims may be rejected if the product/component is broken, shows signs of burning, or rust caused by weather conditions.
- Claims will also be rejected if the product/component is returned in improper condition. It must be packed properly in the protective material supplied at the time of purchase.
6. Exclusions
- Warranty claims will not be entertained for accidental damage, electrical surges, or other external factors beyond the manufacturer’s control.
- Software support is not included with computer hardware warranties. For software-related issues, customers should refer to the manufacturer’s website.
- Warranty claims may be rejected if the warranty sticker/serial number is torn, damaged, or tampered with.
7. Repair or Replacement
- The manufacturer/supplier/distributor reserves the right to repair or replace the product at their discretion once the warranty claim is accepted. The return process may take 3 to 6 weeks.
8. Conditional Warranty Claims
- Claims may be accepted on a “conditional” basis if we are not satisfied that the defect is due to a manufacturing fault. Acceptance will depend on the manufacturer’s discretion and may take more time than usual.
9. LCD/LED Issues
- Warranty will not cover issues like pixel dots on LCDs/LEDs.
10. Warranty Terms Changes
- The manufacturer reserves the right to alter warranty terms and conditions. Updated changes will be available on the manufacturer’s/supplier’s website.
11. Exclusions from Warranty
- Power adapters, cables, printer cartridges/toners, and all additional accessories do not carry a warranty. Claims for these items will not be entertained.
12. International Warranty
- For international products, customers must register the product with the manufacturer directly. Warranty claims will be handled by the user, following the manufacturer’s instructions.
13. Used Hardware
- Used hardware comes with a checking warranty of 3 days only. Please ensure the purchased hardware is in good condition before leaving the counter.
14. Warranty Claim Hours
- Warranty claims are accepted Monday to Friday between 11:30 AM and 6:30 PM.
15. Product Upgrades
- If the product is discontinued by the manufacturer, the manufacturer/supplier/distributor may charge a fee for upgrading the product/component. If the customer refuses the upgrade, a refund may be issued after necessary deductions.
16. Limited Warranty
- Limited Warranty means the first year is free of charge, and subsequent years will require a paid warranty.
17. Items Marked “Without Warranty”
- If an item is marked “Without Warranty,” please inspect the item before leaving the store. LeoTech will not be responsible for any issues afterward.
